We thank you for last Sunday’s Offertory Collection of €1,305 and the Share Collection which amounted to €967.

We greatly appreciate parishioners’ most generous contributions to last weekend’s outdoor collection for the Parish Pastoral Centre which amounted to €1,565.

Enrolment for the First Holy Communion “Do This in Memory of Me” programme will take place at the 10am Mass on this Sunday October 17th .

Next Sunday, October 24th is Mission Sunday. The Share collection on this day will be replaced by a special collection for the Missions. The money raised by the Universal Church on Mission Sunday is made available, in its entirety, to the poorest and neediest missions.

The Milltown Parish Active Retirement Group has recommenced their ‘Gentle Activity to Music’ exercise programme with Valerie Mc. Coy as instructor. New members are welcome to join this class which will continue at 10.30am on this Tuesday October 19th. Participation in the remaining 3 classes will cost €15.

The Milltown Guild of the I.C.A. will continue their ‘Thursday Craft Morning’ at 10am in the Parish Pastoral Centre. This gathering will provide an opportunity for craft workers to share their creative talents. The Crochet Group will also meet at this time.

The Friday morning Irish Conversation Class has recommenced. All levels of Irish are catered for and new members are welcome to attend this informal gathering.

The Milltown Parish Book Club will meet in the Parish pastoral centre at 10.30am on this Wednesday. New members are welcome to join this group.

The Milltown Parish Active Retirement Group are now taking names of those who wish to join with them on their visit to Kilmainham Jail on Tuesday October 26th . Please leave your name in the Parish Pastoral Centre if you are interested in joining this outing. Further details of this visit will be available during the coming week.

We wish to remind parishioners that the Parish Pastoral Centre is open for Tea/Coffee every weekday and Sunday morning. Do drop in to meet some of your fellow parishioners.

Please contact the Parish Office if you know of any parishioner who is housebound and would like to receive Holy Communion in their home.
