· Catholic Youth Care, the Catholic youth organisation has written to the Parish Pastoral Council telling us about their Active Citizenship Project which encourages youth groups to take on a positive role in their local communities.
The Parish Pastoral Council has endorsed and affirmed the aims of this project, and confirms that it is ready to support such local youth groups. Through it we are trying to encourage young people and youth groups to become involved in a positive way in the life of the community. The projects are normally decided on by the youth group and be led by the young people themselves. Projects can be on any topic, and should normally contribute to the youth group becoming involved in the community and that the young people involved learn something about what It means being an active citizen in our society. For further information please contact the Parish Office.

· The Society of St. Vincent De Paul will be collecting their Annual Clothing Appeal bags from the church this weekend. Please return your filled bag to the church this weekend.
