We thank you for last Sunday’s Offertory Collection of €1,053 and the Share Collection which amounted to €761.

Next weekend’s Share Collection will be replaced by a collection for the Eucharistic Congress which will take place in Dublin in 2012.

We offer our condolences to the family and friends of the late Margot Shenahan whose funeral Mass took place in our church last week.

The annual Diocesan Eucharistic Procession, led by Archbishop Diarmuid Martin will take place in Clonliffe College at 7.30pm on Thursday next June 3rd. Please leave your name in the Parish Office if you would like to travel to this diocesan gathering with a Milltown group.

There will be a meeting of the Milltown Branch of the I.C. A. in the Parish Pastoral Centre on Thursday next June 3rd.

The 11.30am Mass on Sunday next, June 6th, will be offered for those who are sitting exams this summer. Please invite any exam students you know to attend this liturgy.

The Milltown Parish Active Retirement Group has arranged a guided tour of Enniscorthy and Mount Usher on Wednesday June 9th. Further details of this outing are on the notice boards.

A One Day Interior Design Workshop will take place in the Parish Centre on Saturday June 19th. For further details please contact Clare at 0872843521 or designcourse@eircom.net .

For parishioners who wish to receive the Eucharist from the chalice only, please note that there will be a chalice placed on a table beside the lectern for your use at Communion time.

Please contact the parish office if you know of any parishioner who is housebound and would like to receive Holy Communion in their home.

We wish to remind parishioners that the Parish Pastoral Centre is open for Tea/Coffee every weekday and Sunday morning. Do drop in to meet some of your fellow parishioners.

The Parish Library is located in the Parish Pastoral Centre. A range of books and DVD’s are available for borrowing. The library is open on weekday mornings and on Sunday morning.

The parish requires additional Altar Servers. Please contact one of the priests if your child is interested in joining this ministry. Children must have received their First Holy communion before becoming an altar server.

Any person who has a talent for singing or playing a musical instrument may be interested in joining a group who could participate in the 5.30pm Mass on Sunday evening. Please contact the Parish office if you would like to be a member of this musical group.

A group of parishioners are making a booking to attend ‘A Celebration of Bill Whelan with the RTE Concert Orchestra’ which takes place in the National Concert hall on Friday August 27. Please contact the Parish Office if you wish to join with this group.

The Parish Pastoral Council has proposed a Parish Open Day to be held on Sunday, October 3rd. If you are interested in helping to organise this event please contact Grace (086, 8354484) or Threase (087, 7658424).

A Milltown Parish Pilgrimage to the Holy Land will take place from October 13th – October 22nd. Flight will go direct from Dublin. Further details of this Pilgrimage are on the Parish Notice Boards. If you are interested in this visit to the Holy land please call:
