Weekly Bulletin 20th & 21st November

We thank you for last Sunday’s Offertory Collection of €1,390 and the C.Y.C. Collection which amounted to €2,863.

Altar List of the Dead.
There are envelopes available on the tables beside the entrance doors to the church if you wish to complete your Altar List of the Dead and return them to the church.

RADHARC
The annual Mass for deceased members of the Radharc Team will take place at 3pm in our Parish Church on this Sunday Nov. 21st Following the Mass refreshments will be served in the parish Pastoral Centre and some Radharc films will be screened. All welcome to attend. Further details of this gathering are on the church Notice Boards


The Christmas Craft and Home Produce Fair will take place on Sunday next, Nov. 28th, between 10am and 2pm in the Parish Pastoral Centre. Donations of Craft items, Cakes and Home Produce for sale on the will be greatly appreciated. All contributions can be left into the Centre during the coming week or on the morning of the Fair.
A sizeable donation of dried fruit has been donated to the Home Produce section of the Parish Christmas Fair. If you would like to make some cakes/preserves for the Christmas Craft and Home Produce Fair, please call into the Parish Pastoral Centre and collect some of this fruit. More details on the Home Produce section of the fair can be obtained from: Ann O’Beirne at 4966165.

The parish Adult & Toddler Group meets in the Parish Pastoral centre at 10.30am on
Friday mornings.

PARISH ADVENT PROGRAMME
Dr. Eileen Kane, a member of the Dublin Diocesan Commission for Sacred Art & Architecture will present a series of 3 Advent talks in the Parish Pastoral Centre at 8pm on Nov 29th, Dec. 6th & Dec. 13th.

A ‘Craft Morning’ takes place in the Parish Pastoral Centre at 10.30 on Thursday mornings. This gathering provides an opportunity for all who knit, sew, crochet or whatever, to share their creative talents.
New members welcome.

The Rathmines Women’s Refuge on Lr. Rathmines Rd. (opposite Rathmines Church) urgently requires ladies and children’s clothing, bedding and toys. Please consider dropping some of these items into the Refuge, your donations will be very much appreciated.
A Christmas Flower Demonstration will take place in the Parish Pastoral Centre at 10.30 am on Thur. Dec. 16th

The Parish Pastoral Centre is open for Tea/Coffee every weekday and Sunday morning. Do drop in to meet some of your fellow parishioners.

The Church Book Rack has been replenished and now has some informative & interesting publications for sale.

The Milltown Parish Active Retirement Group is now taking bookings for their Annual Christmas Dinner which will be held in Milltown Golf Club on Dec. 11th. Further details on Parish Notice Boards.

A Mass to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of St Pius X Church Templeogue will take place in St Pius X Church on Saturday 27th November at 7pm. We would like to invite all priests and former parishioners who had any association with the church to attend. We would be grateful if you could let us know if you will be attending. Light up a Life 2010
Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services, Harold’s Cross will have their annual Light up a Life - Ceremony of Remembrance on Sunday December 5th at 4pm.

Introduction to Church Music of Advent: with Tim Thurston of Gloria fame on RTE Lyric FM, at St. Fergal’s Church, Bray on Wed. 1st Dec. at 8.00p.m. Organised by Bray Churches Together.

Service of Light for the Suicide Bereaved:
The Console Annual Christmas Celebration of Light will take place on Sunday the 28th of November in St Patrick’s College, Maynooth. The Service of Light commemorates the lives lost through Suicide. Fr Aidan Troy CP & Christy Kenneally will be speaking at this service.

The Twentysomethings / The Fortysomethings:
This group is for Catholics in their 20s to 40s. It provides opportunities to get together for social and spiritual events. They organise walks, meals, evenings out, masses, retreats, weekends away, holidays, pilgrimages etc., for this age groups.
