Weekly Bulletin 22th & 23th October 2011

Thank you for last Sunday’s Offertory Collection of €1321 and the Share Collection which amounted to €983.

The theme of this year’s Mission Sunday is ‘Together in Faith’. The universal mission involves everyone, everything and always. The Gospel is not an exclusive possession of those who have received it, but it is a gift to be shared, good news to be passed on to others. The 1,762 Irish missionaries working in 84 countries have been supported by the prayers, sacrifices and material help of countless people over the years. With this in mind we ask parishioners to be as generous as possible to the collection for Mission Sunday which will replace the Share Collection at all Masses this weekend.

Volunteers are required for the 50th International Congress which will take place in Dublin from the 10th to the 17th June 2012. Further details of the Congress are displayed on the green Notice Board which is located inside the church.
