Weekly Bulletin 11th & 12th February 2012

Dates for your Diary!!!
Each year during Lent and Advent we have a series of lectures. And we hope to do the same this year, but with a difference! This Lent (Ash Wed is Feb 22nd) we are running the Enneagram.
So what’s the Enneagram? Well it’s a study of 9 personality types. There are different names given to the different types e.g. Perfectionist, Status seeker, Loyalist, Carer etc. So, it’s a way of getting to know yourself better, getting to know what makes you tick, what gives you energy or robs the energy/passion from you. It also shows how different types might clash and the negative side of the Personality Types. It is Lent after all! So we can learn about our Negative side and transform it.
It is, however, not designed to help you decide of other people’s type: the only one we can change is ourselves. Now, the important thing is that it’s a course, so if you sign up you’ll need to be able to go to the entire course. It’s over four Monday nights; one night builds on what was done the previous night.
It’s a bit of a change from our usual lectures but, let’s see how it goes. Ask around and see have any your friends done it; bring them along even if they have. The Dates for your Diary are: Feb 27th, March 5th, 12th (19th March is a Bank holiday) and 26th.
